A popup appears after kde starts saying evolution-alarm-notify has quit
unexpectedly

1. Boot Debian etch with KDE 3.4

thanks for taking the time to report this, but unfortunately, the stacktrace is
too short and therefore pretty useless for the developers to find out what went
wrong.
please take a look at section "Debugging Evolution's Crashes" at
http://www.gnome.org/projects/evolution/bugs.shtml and submit the "debugging
info" (that is the gdb stacktrace) here again.

please also tell us which versions of evolution and evolution-data-server you
have installed.
