Description Karl Hegbloom 2005-11-06 21:13:44 UTC
Version details: 2.4.1-0ubuntu7
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy Badger (5.10)

When I reply to an encrypted message, I have to make sure that the Security -->
Encrypt (and Security --> Sign) menu items are checkmarked. They really should
be checkmarked by default when responding to a message that was encrypted on
arrival.

Also, in the contact manager, I would like to have a checkbox for whether email
sent to a particular email address (not just global to the person) is to be
encrypted by default or not.

There should be some kind of indication of encryption and signing status in the
email composition user interface. It should not be hidden away on a menu, but
instead should be out in plain view as it is in FireFox. An encryption toggle
and a signing toggle would be nice to have in the toolbar or on a status bar.
