Distribution/Version: XP

File -> New...
Image Size: Width = 70, Height = 60 -- pixels (size doesnt seem to matter though)
[Landscape]
Advanced options:
X-Y resolution: 72 x 72 pixels/in
Colorspace: RGB Color
Fill with: Transparency (also happens with Background color chosen).
Comment: Created with the GIMP
Click OK ... new image window appears, but GIMP crashes.

System Information: Windows XP, GTK+ Runtime 2.6.9 rev a (GTK+
Installed/Upgraded with OpenOffice.org 2.0 I believe, GIMP was working fine till
OO.o installed).

Thanks for the bug report.  It is probably the same problem described in bug
317570, so I am going to mark this report as a duplicate.

Sure thing.  Sorry about the dupe.  I did try to see if anything was already
reported, but I am not that fluent with Bugzilla... yet :) ...
