GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 320108
The pointer needs to be moved back after an aborted ALT-F7/F8 move/resize
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:05:23 UTC
1. Press alt-f7 on a window. 2. Move the window around. 3. Abort the move by pressing escape. The window returns to its original position, but the mouse remain on the position where it was right before the escape key was pressed.
Subset of "We need to quit warping the stinking pointer around since it breaks stuff and is unintuitive for the user in many cases anyway"[1], which I should have filed a bug about but it looks like this will take care of it for me (thanks!). :-) [1] See thread at http://mail.gnome.org/archives/metacity-devel-list/2005-October/msg00002.html
