Description Alex Arakcheyev 2005-10-23 08:32:01 UTC
Please describe the problem:
This problem has ben found 1st time after large update of packages I made
recently. Additionally to standard packages NVIDIA vidio driver kernel module
has been installed.

Usually when I read electronic documents and find some interesting phrase in it
I select thet text, switch to browser and google to get additional information
about it. Then I switch back to evince and continue to read the document.
Everything was fine before last updates. But now when I select text and switch
to another document all current packeg appears to be blank except selected text
itself.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select some text in PDF document.
2. Switch into another application ( all text on current page except selected
one disapears )

Actual results:
I see selected inactive text only and blank white page around.
That text is inactive because I am in another application.

Expected results:
The text of current page should be always shown.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, I tried it with couple of PDF document and it always happens

Other information:
This problem was not pesent before version 0.4.
My system is Redhat FC4 with all current updates.
