GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 319453
Printing legal-size PDF reduced to letter size
Last modified: 2006-02-16 20:53:21 UTC
Version details: 0.4.0 Distribution/Version: Fedora Core 4 1. Open a legal-size PDF in evince 2. Print on legal size paper Instead of taking the full legal page size, the printed area is letter size on the bottom of the legal page. Variation: On the other hand, the same procedure from a PostScript source produces correct results. System: evince-0.4.0-1.2 poppler-0.4.1-1.1 Linux 2.6.13-1.1526_FC4smp
Created attachment 53748 [details] Samples (1) source documents and (2) printed to PostScript source.pdf: the original, legal-size PDF source.pdf.ps: source.pdf converted to ps output-frompdf.ps: source.pdf printed from evince to ps (bad) output-fromps.ps: source.pdf.ps printed from evince to ps (good)
P.S. (no pun intended) I forgot to mention that I made sure that in Evince's printer dialog I set the paper size to US Legal.
Thanks for reporting this. I suspect this problem was discussed earlier already, so let me mark this bug as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 309892 ***
