Description Andrew 2005-10-20 00:25:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In the "Print" dialog in the "Paper" tab the "Paper tray" option is disabled and
it states "No options defined." However, my printer has two trays.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Setup printer as described below in "system information."
2. Open a PDF.
3. File->Print
4. Open "Paper" tab
5. Look at "Paper tray" option

Actual results:
"Paper tray" option is disabled and it states "No options defined."

Expected results:
I should see "Tray 1" and "Tray 2" and maybe "Manual" or "Auto."

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
On the same system, OpenOffice.org recognizes two trays. Also the command
lpoptions shows two trays.

System information:
- Fedora Core 4
- CUPS with Foomatic setup using system-config printer and a PPD (I think HP's PPD)
- HP LaserJet 2420dn connected by JetDirect
