Last modified: 2005-10-17 20:05:02 UTC
Distribution: Unknown Package: nautilus Severity: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.0 2.12.0 Gnome-Distributor: SUSE Synopsis: Windows Network File Browser Connect to Share crash Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.12.0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.12.0) Description: Description of the crash: I was adding a share oto the File Browser under Windows Network. I entered server name, share name, domain, and my username and clicked connect. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. From Desktop, click Computer 2. Click File System 3. Click Network 4. Click Windows Network 5. Nothing there, click Reload button 6. Nothing there, click Edit->Properties? (don't remember for sure), somehow I got to a place where I could manually enter a file server. 7. From drop down list, click windows server (or windows share?) 8. Fill in server name (windows server name, not FQDN), Share name (no slashes), username, domain, leave everything else blank 9. Click Connect 10. Crash Expected Results: Either authentication error, password prompt, or connect to windows share. How often does this happen? First time I tried this, don't know how often it will happen. Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome/bin/nautilus' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
