Description Simon Howard 2005-10-13 09:59:40 UTC
The new Gtk+ file dialog includes buttons to add and remove places to the
bookmarks list. Nautilus now has the "Places" sidebar view which shows the same
thing, but the add/remove bookmark buttons are missing. You can do it from the
bookmarks menu but it would be nice for it to be properly consistent.

Thanks for your bug report!
I'm marking this one as depending on bug 319233, since the latter discusses
removal of the said buttons from the GtkFileChooser. As soon as the latter has
happened, and we've adopted their keybinding for adding a bookmark, we can close
this one again.

I'm marking this as not a bug. Add and remove buttons would be confusing. It would not be obvious what they refer to: Places isn't just about bookmarks. Plus, they would make the interface look ugly.

Thanks for the report.
