Description Dave Malcolm 2005-10-11 05:14:07 UTC
In order to get regression tests working in a tinderbox, we really ought to be
able to run dogtail scripts on some kind of fake X session. For bonus points,
it ought to possible to record a movie of the testrun (e.g. using vnc2swf) and
delete it on success, so that you have a movie to help with debugging.

running headless: figure out xvfb v. xfake, maybe just use whichever
is installed; need to get a full session going- what exactly are the
needs for the session? could jhbuild run gnome-session (inside session
run test scripts) or could maybe do the nat-jeff session:
http://nat.org/2005/october/#Keep-It-Simple-Stupid instead of a real
session

It's working in CVS, using a nat-jeff session for now.
