Description Martin-Éric Racine 2005-10-10 14:51:47 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Being able to click and drag the tasks onto one another would be very
convenient. 'indent' and 'unindent' are kind of clunky in comparison.

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
This is an old bug report remaining in the Debian BTS.

It probably was fixed already but I'm hereby polling the upstream authors to
verify. If it's fixed, I will close the corresponding bugs in the Debian BTS.

I don't really agree that indentation should be done by drag-and-drop. That is
already used to add dependencies and the plan is to also use it to move tasks up
and down.

Are you thinking about dragging and dropping in the gantt view? Because dragging
and dropping in the treeview would make it a lot easier to move tasks up and down,
as well as changing it's indentation (from a regular task to a subtask).
