I think that disabling Alarms in "Birthdays & Anniversaries" calendar is not a
good idea (which is the current status up until 2.4.1).

I would like to see a general configuration whether to eable/disable Alarming on
Birthdays & Anniversaries. 

Having such a calender and being able to see events only if browsing causing the
feature of "reminding" birthdays a bit more problematic ;-)
