Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: gconf-editor Severity: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.1 2.12.0 Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Configuration editor Bugzilla-Product: gconf-editor Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.12.0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.12.0) Description: Description of the crash: tried to change gnome opacity and it crashed Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. drink a pint of guinness 2. boot ubutu but in recovery mode because the upgrade that came today witht he autoupdater panics the kernel 3. open another guinness Expected Results: Try to get up for work on time and show up bright eyed and bushy tailed. How often does this happen? Not often enough according to my boss. Crash happens in glib, changing product Looks like a unique stack trace
Reading the steps to reproduce .... beer and computers don't mix well :) Cheers. Confirming this report since we got some decent stack trace.
Just because the stacktrace ends in gobject, it doesn't automatically have to be the culprit.
