Description Christian Krause 2005-10-01 21:34:18 UTC
Please describe the problem:
clicking on audio disc icon on desktop results in the message:
"couldn't display cdda:///dev/hde"

Steps to reproduce:
1. insert audio cd
2. double click on "audio disc" icon on desktop

Actual results:
error message appears "couldn't display cdda:///dev/hde"

Expected results:
gnome-cd or something like that should be started

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
This bug could be somehow related to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=149224
but I don't think it is a dupe, because the other bug is not about this error
message after clicking the icon.

Actually, this is a duplicate of bug #315877.  There's a long discussion there;
the summary is that we generate magic "cdda://" URIs and there needs to be a
standard handler for them for when the user double-clicks CD icons.
