Last modified: 2021-05-19 11:32:44 UTC
Distribution/Version: fedora core 4 The default order of the columns needs to be reversed in right-to-left locales. I will attach two screenshots to demonstrate the problem.
Created attachment 52907 [details] The way the default column order should be.
Created attachment 52908 [details] The way the default column order is now.
confirming the bug.
I see the menus are also in the right-extreme. How do other GNOME applications behave? Did you made any patch for the screen-shot that you have attached or is it just image-manipulation? This is an enhancement request and may not qualify as a bug.
Farzaneh: When adding a dependancy/related bug, please add a comment also. Since people might miss to see the dependancy bug. This blocks bug 311332
Sankar P: This is neither a patch nor image manipulation. This is how GTK applications look in RTL mode.
shortening the summary a bit so it is readable in saerch results.
I'd give this a shot given some directions. I had a quick look but got lost in the gazillion possible views of mail (I didn't they think existed).
Still valid in 3.2.3 with LOCALE=fa_IR.utf8
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new enhancement request ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
