GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 317661
Crash while manipulating remote sftp folder
Last modified: 2005-10-01 11:50:27 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: nautilus Severity: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.0 2.12.0 Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Crash while manipulating remote sftp folder Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: 2.12.0 BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.12.0) Description: Description of the crash: I was copying some files from a folder on my desktop to my server via sftp. I was using the new list view in spatial mode on both the local folder and the remote. The source location is a subfolder of the open folder (that is, I have the 'downloads' folder open and inside it I have a folder called 'nightynight',which has a large file in it that I want to copy to my server). The desitination location is a subfolder of the remote open folder. Dunno if any of that is relevant. Anyway, while copying the first file, I wanted to copy a second file, so I was browisng around the remote folder (expanding some folders via the little triangle), and nautilus seems to have crashed while doing that. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. unsure. Perhaps the stacktrace will be helpful 2. 3. Expected Results: How often does this happen? Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
