GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 317489
Animated image on forwarded HTML message won't let you scroll down
Last modified: 2005-09-30 00:35:22 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary I received an HTML email containing an animated image (a GIF, I guess) as a banner. When I forward this message, the quoted original message will appear on a new editable email (as I'm not using the "attachment" option for forwarding messages, I use the "quote" option that shows the original message as part of your forwarded email). The problem is that when you scroll down, you will be returned automatically to the top of the message each time the animated image goes to a new frame. This doesn't happen if the forwarded message doesn't contain an animated image.
I can forward the problematic email to anyone interested. Just write to capitanplaneta A T gmail D O T com
