Description André Klapper 2005-09-27 23:04:08 UTC
Version details: gtkhtml2-3.9.0.0.200509230743-0.snap.novell.11.1
Distribution/Version: suse9.3

the new key handlers ctrl++, ctrl+- and ctrl+0 work as expected
1) in a seperate window,
2) with focus in the message preview pane and
3) with focus outside of the message preview pane (e.g. message list pane).

however, the old keystrokes ctrl+8 and ctrl+9 still work
1) in a seperate window and
2) with focus in the message preview pane.
they do not work with focus outside of the message preview pane (e.g. message
list pane).

please remove the old key handlers.

err...i guess some of you put a wrong string into gtkhtml so "rpm -q" says
gtkhtml is version 3.9.0, but i expect it's 3.8.0. :-)
Comment 1 André Klapper 2005-09-27 23:07:51 UTC
ok, i see that 3.9.0 is intended by tml to avoid mixup with the gnome-2-12 branch.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2005-12-20 12:37:13 UTC
hmm, both
  $:andre\> grep -r '\*Control\*8' ~/gnome-cvs/gtkhtml/*
  $:andre\> grep -r '\*Control\*8' ~/gnome-cvs/evolution/*
lead to no results whilst
  $:andre\> grep -r '\*Control\*0' ~/gnome-cvs/evolution/*
leads to
  /$DIR/evolution/ui/evolution-mail-message.xml: accel="*Control*0"/>

i'm confused.
anyway, this is evolution and not gtkhtml - reassigning.
Comment 3 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:27:37 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 4 Matthew Barnes 2009-02-12 04:37:53 UTC
This may already be obsolete, but it's fixed for sure on the kill-bonobo branch.
Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2009-08-30 05:53:04 UTC
The "kill-bonobo" branch has been merged into "master" and will debut as Evolution 2.29.1. We believe the branch has addressed the reported issue. If you find the issue still exists in version 2.29 or later please feel free to re-open this bug.

Closing as FIXED.
