Description Christian Persch 2005-09-27 18:58:15 UTC
Testcase: zipped @ http://www.egosystem.com/starwars/download/anh.zip

** (evince:13433): WARNING **: Unimplemented destination: POPPLER_DEST_FITB,
please post a bug report with a testcase.
Comment 1 Olivier Le Thanh Duong 2005-10-31 03:06:26 UTC
No warning on evince version 0.4.0 (using Poppler 0.4.2 splash), this may be a
regression.
Christian, what version of Poppler were you using? Also from CVS?
Does it happen on particuliar page?
Comment 2 Christian Persch 2005-10-31 09:29:35 UTC
HEAD with poppler HEAD. It happens as soon as you open the doc.
Comment 3 Pablo Rodríguez 2006-02-22 20:51:57 UTC
0.5.0 with poppler 0.5.0. It happens as soon as you open the PDF document.
Comment 4 Carlos Garcia Campos 2006-05-12 18:20:22 UTC
Confirmed with evince and poppler from cvs head. Marking as new.
Comment 5 palfrey 2006-11-29 17:43:30 UTC
Still reproducible with Evince 0.6.1 and Poppler 0.5.4
Comment 6 Vadim Nasardinov 2007-01-20 14:56:24 UTC
I'm getting this error with Evince 0.6.0 shipped in Fedora Core 6:

 | $ cat /etc/fedora-release
 | Fedora Core release 6 (Zod)
 | $ rpm -q evince
 | evince-0.6.0-6.fc6
 | $ evince --version
 | Gnome evince 0.6.0

This is the warning that I get:

 | ** (evince:21143): WARNING **: Unimplemented named action:
 | POPPLER_DEST_FITB, please post a bug report in Evince bugzilla
 | (http://bugzilla.gnome.org) with a testcase.

Another test case, same message as in previous comments is emitted by evince 0.8.0 with poppler 0.5.4 on Fedora Core 6 (evince locally rebuilt from Fedora devel):

Another test case: http://www.mai.liu.se/~johan/dissertation/paper_1b.pdf
Evince 2.20.1, poppler 0.6 (cairo) on Ubuntu Gutsy.
I get two identical warnings when opening the document.

A "me too" post, could reproduce it with up-to-date Ubuntu Gutsy (2.20.1) and Hardy (2.21.91 with poppler 0.6.4 cairo)

Maybe the warning should be removed, now that there's enough test cases?
