Default is Fit Page Width. I have using a resolution of 1280x1024, so Best Fit
is a much better choice for me. So everytime I start Evince I have to change to
Best Fit.

That I can't change this, do I really see as a disavantage.

So I see two possible solutions:

* Evince gets preference menu
* Evince remembers the last used settings.
