Description Roman Polach 2005-09-25 14:52:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In default czech keyboard layout, there are characters "\" and "|"
input by pressing right-Alt + Q and right-Alt + W.
But theese key combinations do not work in vnc sessions if vino-server
is used (note that if xf4vnc server is used, theese combinations DO work)

Steps to reproduce:
press rAlt-Q or rAlt-W
in Gedit or terminal window

Actual results:
nothing

Expected results:
display "\" or "|" characters

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
other key combinations of standard czech X keyboard layout work fine

sorry for incorrect description!
i do not know if the behavoiur of pressing theese combinations
changes from session to session but the behaviour now is this:

right-Alt + W works OK for me..
right-Alt + Q types "/" instead of "\" in Gedit, terminal etc. for me.

Hi.

Could you test with latest vino release (2.19.92 as today)?

I guess this bug is a duplicate of #353304, which has been fixed.
Comment 3 Roman Polach 2007-11-09 09:48:37 UTC
Yes, while 2.28.1 still has this problem,
2.20.0 seems to be fixed for me.
