The problem is with the vfolders you have created, when you upgraded evolution, i think the vfolder rules were not imported. A work-around would be to re-create the vfolders you have.
please try to fix your vfolders...please reopen if that does not help (though it should); setting to NEEDINFO. :-/

I experience the same bug. Personally, I use vFolders, but the fact is that I created them in this particular version (no upgrades and no data migration). Hope this will help somehow.
