I have tried switching between using sendmail and a smtp-server, but it crashes anyway. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Click the "Send/Recieve" or the "Send" button in the composer. Expected Results: Evolution should send the message and not crash. How often does this happen? Always Additional Information: This happens using Fedora Core 4 with the nrpms-repository. Have you specifed a folder for your Sent Items (not the local/default one)?
Yes. If I change to the local folder, the crash goes away, but it still won't send any messages. I'm now also noticing some weird lockups (that probably aren't related to that change anyway). Making a backup of my contacts and calendars and removing ~/.evolution and ~/.gconf/apps/evolution fixed all those problems.
Thanks for the info, looks like a problem with importing old data. But this surely worked fine. Closing the bug for now. Please re-open if necessary. Thanks
