Currently, Banshee cannot utilize music that is not connected to a local
computer. For scenarios where the music is stored on a centralized server, this
is a critical issue.

Solutions like shfs are not only unstable, but not optimal, as they don't
integrate well with the Gnome desktop.

We are debating whether or not to add a GNOME VFS backend.

This will BTW fix bug 323737 and other bugs like this
I will add this to FeatureRequest but in wich category? =)
Gnome-Vfs will be usefull at-least while Importing files

Reopened the bug and added it to bug 338057, which collects all feature requests. It's scheduled for a move to the wiki then.
