Description Bryan O'Sullivan 2005-09-16 15:02:05 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora Core 4

I think Evince is pretty fantastic, but it has a few features that annoy me
quite a lot as I now use it very heavily.

I'm using version 0.3.1 from Fedora Core 4.

Every time I run Evince, I have to check the "View -> Continuous" and "View ->
Best Fit" checkboxes, as it does not remember these settings for me. This is
quite irritating to have to do by hand, especially when building and rebuilding
the same PDF file over and over and using evince to look at it.

It would be great if these checkboxes stayed sticky across invocations of the
viewer, or default values showed up in gconf-editor, or anything that prevented
me from having to perform several extra actions every minute or two that I'm
modifying a PDF.

Thanks for such a great piece of software!

This was fixed in latest versions. Please try 0.4.0.
