Evince doesn't display gzipped dvi files, while it correctly and nicely handles
plain .dvi files. However, a large number of TeX documentation in the Debian
teTeX packages is packed with gzip and, because of this, can't directly be
displayed in evince.

Well, that all is about compressed files, so let me mark this bug as duplicate.
