Description Jeff MacDonald 2005-09-08 21:25:49 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz)
Package: bug-buddy
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 2.10.x
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: evolution seg fault at startup
Bugzilla-Product: bug-buddy
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.10.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
(filing this as bug-buddy because I got an error when I picked
"evolution" from the list of possible packages)

I attempted to send an email that was GPG signed. when I hit "send", I
got a dialog box that the application could not allocate memory. I
turned off the "GPG sign" option from the menus, hit send, and the email
went out (as far as I know). I went to click on something (I think it
was to select the menu so I could restart evolution), and I got a
segfault with an assertion (pasted below). When I tried to restart
evolution, I got *another* seg fault, and that is when "bug buddy"
popped up.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?

Additional Information:

first seg fault:
--------------------

(evolution:2923): camel-CRITICAL **: camel_folder_free_message_info:
assertion `info != NULL' failed
Segmentation fault!
Cannot display crash dialog

second seg fault which triggered bug-buddy:
----------------------------------------------------------------
[~] [4:42pm] [jam@eros] % evolution
es menu class init
adding hook target 'source'
Failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon: No reply within specified time
28816: arguments to dbus_connection_get_data() were incorrect, assertion
"connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 4478.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-BUS library.
28816: arguments to dbus_connection_set_data() were incorrect, assertion
"connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 4442.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-BUS library.
