Description Khasim Shaheed 2005-09-05 05:43:05 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1.Make sure that you have remembered the password while logging in
2.Now forget the password
3.Restart evolution

An error dialog pops up saying that ,
"Error while Scanning folders in Exchange server.
Could not connect to Evolution Exchange backend process:No such file or directory"
along with the password dialog. If i enter the password and say ok, it asks for
the password again. If i enter the password for the second time and press enter,
the following error message is displayed in the console:

(evolution-2.4:8853): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Error occurred while existing
dialogue active: Could not authenticate to server. (Password incorrect?)
even though i enter correct password.

This is happening atleast once in 2 attemps.

This is happening with the devel snaps dated,
evolution-2.4.0.0.200508310439-0.snap.novell.11.1
evolution-data-server-1.4.0.0.200508310439-0.snap.novell.11.1
evolution-exchange-2.4.0.0.200508310439-0.snap.novell.11.1

Comment 3 Sushma Rai 2005-12-19 09:34:47 UTC
from the error message,
"Could not connect to Evolution Exchange backend process" ,
looks like exchange-storage process is crashed.
Need stack traces to fix this issue.
Comment 4 Sushma Rai 2006-01-19 05:37:52 UTC
This is not reproducible now.
Also, some fixes have gone into save password and folder hierarchy
related issues.
So closing the bug. Please re-open if it is still an issue.
