Description Bill Riemers 2005-08-26 21:11:19 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If an account is removed from the preferences, the ~/.evolution/mail/imap
entries remain. If another account is later added with the same name, and
mostly same information, even the old password is recalled

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an IMAP account. Select to save the password.
2. View the folders. (Entering the password when prompted.)
3. Remove the account with the preferences dialog.
4. Close evolution, just to prove it is not a resident memory problem.
5. Open evolution and re-enter the account that was just removed.
6. View the folders. You will not be prompted for a password.

Actual results:
All the information in the imap folder remains and gets reused...

Expected results:
For the folder relevent to the account to be removed.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
In a related bug, if you create a IMAP account and then try to change it to a
IMAP4, it doesn't work. Because of this bug, removing and recreating the account
also doesn't work.
