Panel transparency update bug
Last modified: 2005-09-11 16:55:47 UTC
Please describe the problem: If the panel is set to transparent and an applet changes state, the background does, at times, not update or seems to have a different level of opacity. This usually happens on login, when the weather applet updates, and when toggling the clock/calendar. For comparison see the two attached screen shots of the weather applet. Steps to reproduce: I can't manually reproduce this. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? No Other information:
Created attachment 51245 [details] Weather applet broken background.
Created attachment 51246 [details] Weather applet good background.
what applets are affected? can you please try to give us instructins on how to trigger this? I haven't seen it but I will habe an eye on the applets background. maybe you want to synch with cvs again and see if that remedies.
adding UI keyword
Changing product to applets
Yes now I have seen this as well. The weather applet is affected. It happens at login - the background begind "°C" is not updated correctly for me. Confirming. Not sure if this should be filed against gnome-panel.
Hi guys. This really is a problem in gnome-panel. Fixed some time ago but waiting to be merged into CVS. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 167771 ***
