Description Vidar Braut Haarr 2005-08-22 16:18:32 UTC
When you create a new file or folder launcher from DnD'ing from Nautilus to a
Panel, it should inherit the emblems on the original entity.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Locate a random file or folder.
2. Add an emblem to it.
3. Drag the entity to the panel.

Actual results:
If you dragged a folder, you just get a generic folder icon. If you dragged a
file, you get the appropriate MIME icon. In any case the emblems are not present.

Expected results:
Inherit emblems.

This would especially help the user recognize which folder is which if he has
several folder launchers on his panel (if he has bothered to put emblems on
them, at least). I know it doesn't solve this problem entirely - or even to a
remotely satisfying degree - but it is one way of aiding it.

A continuation of this would be to also update the emblems if the original
target changed.

P.S.: Sorry if the product/component is wrong, I wasn't quite sure where to put
this.
