------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@gnome.bugs 2005-08-21 03:22 UTC ------- Unknown version 0 in product gnome-applets. Setting version to "unspecified".
Stack trace looks unique.
See also http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308585, for suse 10.0 we also have several reports - weather applet and evince - with the same trace
Looks like a crash in gtk Changing product to gtk. Retitling. Jason, can you install the libgtk2.0-0-dbg package please, add "/usr/lib/dbg" temporarily to the _top_ your /etc/ld.so.conf, run #ldconfig as root, produce the crash again and post a comment with the then obtained stack trace to this report, please?
Which version of GTK+ ?
As I said the crash is not reproducable; however I've now installed gtk-dbg package so I if it happens again I'll get it. I believe it may have happened after I upgraded the applet through apt-get upgrade (or maybe even during the upgrade process).
In other news, there is no /usr/lib/dbg directory, but I added /usr/lib/debug...
Oh and for the other question...my GTK is now 2.6.9-1, however I don't know if I've upgraded it since making this report (if so then the version I had would be the version in debian unstable on or a couple days before I made the report).
Has nothing to do with the icon view, afaics. Since it is not reproducable, its probably not worth keeping it open.
