Description Joachim Noreiko 2005-08-20 15:49:39 UTC
dragging an object from Firefox (such as an image) to the desktop produces a
dialog box that says:

Download location?
You can download it or make a link to it.

However, when the target is the desktop, there is no sign that Nautilus requires
attention. From the user's point of view, the operation appears to have failed.

This is because the dialog box appears at the centre of the desktop, which is
usually covered up by the web browser window. The dialog box is listed in the
panel area as "untitled window" which isn't very helpful either.

I'm making this as 'usability' because this is concerned with the more general
question of how a dialog box that concerns the desktop should behave. I'll ask
the usability list...
