What is the status of this? Any target release? Could we expect this for 2.14? This has annoyed me for quite a while now.
Comment 5 Guilherme de Siqueira Pastore 2006-01-08 19:14:07 UTC
There is simply no more space in the preferences dialog, so it is unlikely to happen for 2.14. Besides, this should be remembered (such as gedit does, for example), IMHO, and not a preference, so this is probably never going to be applied anyway, but rather fixed in a more sensible way.

Thanks anyway, and sorry.
Comment 6 Christian Persch 2008-03-25 22:12:30 UTC
I agree with comment 5: this should not be a per-profile option, but just remembered from last time you ran g-t.

Related bug 305268 is about adding a cmdline option to maximise.
Comment 7 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2008-03-25 22:31:01 UTC
I agree, don't add an option, just remember it automatically.

But, uh, is it also possible for the size, or is that out of question?
