1. open gnome-terminal and ssh to a remote linux server
2. open pine on the remote server
3. resize the terminal window


Actual Results:
receive crash error

Expected Results:
window resized to area desired.

How often does this happen?
frequently, but not every time

Additional Information:
the 'workstation' is running redhat 9
the remote server is running fedora core 3
