Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-08-18 16:07:41 UTC
with gstreamer0.8/gstreamer0.8-plugins 0.8.10 and totem 1.1.4, playing an ASF
video is really slow (it hangs for a few sec, then plays for 1 sec, etc).
Comment 1 Sebastien Bacher 2005-08-18 16:08:53 UTC
The video: http://pkg-gnome.alioth.debian.org/bugzilla/Nuts.asx
Comment 2 Michaël Arnauts 2005-08-18 18:40:16 UTC
Confirming.
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2005-08-23 21:43:25 UTC
Note that the problem occurs for *all* ASF/WMV videos.
Comment 4 Wim Taymans 2006-03-28 14:13:54 UTC
works a lot better with 0.10. some refcounting bugs in asfdemux make it look too choppy still.
Comment 5 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-03-28 15:31:18 UTC
Also see bug #332157 , might be the same issue
Comment 6 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-07-10 14:27:34 UTC
Pretty much the same issue as #332157 really (asfdemux not getting the timestamping for the video right).
