Description Paul Ionescu 2005-08-15 19:15:48 UTC
Hello,

It would be nice to have an option to select to display the image autorotated if
the exif orientation field contain something other than "top-left".
I know that I can rotate all needed pictures with "adjust photo orientation"
tool, but there are cases when this is not doable (like a readonly media).
Also a nice feature would be an option to take the thumbnails directly from the
exif field, instead from a separate place (Nautilus thumbs or others).

Thank you,
Paul

Autorotation has already been mentioned elsewhere. Using the thumbnails from
exif has been known to be broken. Certainly, the rotation would be all wrong,
and I'm told some cameras don't generate it properly (bad cropping, quality, etc).
