Please describe the problem:
when rotating an image and generally saving an image the exif description
dissapears, ie all the camera details, shutter speed etc.  

Steps to reproduce:
1. load a picture with exif information
2. alter the picture (rotate)
3. save the picture

Actual results:
the information tab dissapears

Expected results:
the exif information should be retained

Does this happen every time?
yes
