Description Thilo 2005-08-02 13:47:42 UTC
I think it is odd that I have to go to a "tools" menu to subscribe to new
newsgroups or to IMAP folders. I would suggest that there is a menu entry for
each account-icon for managing subscription. The one in the tools-menu is just
too far away. And it forces the user to select the right account, although he
could point that out in the sidebar much better.

"I would suggest that there is a menu entry for

please explain what you mean.
Comment 2 Thilo 2005-08-08 09:24:15 UTC
If there is account like

 * IMAP
 * NNTP

both should show a menu entry for "subscribe/unsbscribe" when right-clicking on
them. Right now I only can create a new folder (what makes no sense on nntp for
me!?)

there is already a menu for each account on the subscribe editor window

for something you very rarely use, it would be a mess to add this to the main menu.
Comment 4 Thilo 2005-08-11 16:00:37 UTC
I would put menu entrys where users expect them. I think a menu entry "tools"
and subscribing is very abstract. Tell people they should subscribe/unsubscribe
and I bet many will not find the entry.
