Using Evince CVS HEAD with Poppler CVS HEAD causes the situation that I get
random lockups with documents, either they are showing white pages in the middle
of the to be shown text or even worse after some scrolling down the entire
application simply locks up.

Me too. This btw can be reproduced only with cairo backend. Splash backend looks
better but if I select text, everything else becames hidden. Can we consider
this bug as bloker?

Heh, dunno if we can consider it a blocker :) After half a dozen bugreports
about Evince they stopped commenting on them :)
