Description Michael Monreal 2005-07-31 13:56:43 UTC
Version details: 2.11.90
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy

If you add URIs like computer:/// or burn:/// to your nautilus bookmarks, they
will show up as normal folders in the bookmarks list as well as in the places
sidebar and change their icon once you visit them. Icons will stay as long as
the nautilus process is running, killing nautilus will result in the special
icons not beeing displayed again.
Comment 1 Michael Monreal 2005-07-31 13:59:40 UTC
Most likeley unreleated: The gtk filechooser and the bookmarks in "places" in
the panel do not pick up the right icons at all, then again it they do not even
display the right names for vfs uris, only the uri itself (in case of the
chooser) or "/" (in case of the panel menu, something i have reported a while
ago, see #309598)

This looks highly unprofessional and is irritating, too.
The patch in bug 312095 fixes this, can it please be
committed to CVS for 2.12?
Comment 3 Christian Neumair 2005-08-29 09:20:42 UTC
The patch was finally committed. Thanks for your efforts.
