Description Cameron Meadors 2005-07-28 15:54:36 UTC
The tooltip for the Search button in the tool bar is wrong. It should read:

“Search for files, emails, music, pictures and anything on the computer.”
Comment 1 Mikael Hallendal 2005-07-28 18:56:39 UTC
Hmm, this is about work started on a search tool for Nautilus, it's available in
the nautilus-search branch and shouldn't really be posted here since it's not in
main Nautilus (at least not without a comment).

Anna, is that really correct that you had in mind to have that very long string
in a tooltip?
Comment 2 Christian Neumair 2005-07-28 20:07:07 UTC
We now have a nautilus-search version field value.
Comment 3 Christian Neumair 2005-07-28 20:08:03 UTC
Couldn't we just use "Find files, folders, and documents on your computer" from
gnome-search-tool?
Comment 4 Calum Benson 2005-08-08 16:39:46 UTC
Sounds more reasonable... it doesn't really make sense to say "search for X, Y,
Z and anything", you might just as well say "search for anything" :)
Comment 5 Cosimo Cecchi 2007-12-30 15:54:03 UTC
This is fixed in SVN trunk, as it reads "Locate documents and folders on this computer by name or content".
