Description Marc González Majoral 2005-07-28 00:55:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Windows automatically puts the extension ".lnk" to symbolic links. When you try
to open one of them with the Gimp's file browser, it does not follow the link.
Instead, it says that ".lnk" is not a valid file type.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a symbolic link to an image.
2. Try to open the symbolic link with the Gimp's file browser.

Actual results:
You can't open the file

Expected results:
The file that is pointed by the symbolic link is opened.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
