Description Corey Burger 2005-07-27 10:21:31 UTC
Please describe the problem:
1. Go Places-->connect to server
2. Choose FTP (with login)
3. enter in information
4. double-click on the icon on the desktop
5. Fill in the information in the dialog and click ok or cancel
6. Notice that the view jumps 2 workspaces to the left and the 1st workspace
flashes, as if selected

What should happen?

It should stay in the current workspace

I have tested with several ftp servers and have determined that it was not
wierdness caused by a specific ftp server.

Ok, this also happens with successful connections. The reason I didn't see it
was that usually succesful connections happen so fast the machine doesn't get
enough time to switch to the other workspace and back again.

Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

This also happens with the alt-f2 dialog and when nautilus opens a folder, so I
am changing the title accordingly
