Description Lionel Dricot 2005-07-22 10:03:01 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Some EPS figures are only partialy displayed in Evince. It takes also some time
to render altought the render with xpdf is quick and correct.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached PDF with Evince
2. Look a the second figure. Not dot are displayed.
3. Open with xpf, see the difference. (and also see the speed !)

Actual results:
- no dots
- 300% slower than xpdf

Expected results:
- dots
- faster :-)

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
When opened under windows, it must be noticed that :
- Ghostview and Adobe Acrobat 5.0 don't have any problems
- Adobe Acrobat 6.0, just like Evince, doesn't display the dots !

Hmmm with the splash backend the file doesnt get rendered at all. Are you using
cairo backend (see Help->About)?
Can someone else using cairo give this a try?

This is working perfectly now. It's faster than xpdf and it works nicely :-)

Great job !
