Version details: a Gentoo Flavor of Gnome that i belive pretty untouch
Distribution/Version: Gentoo 1.6.13, Gentoo kernel 2.6.12-r6

Ok, simply make a big file, when i means big it's 4.5 gigabytes. 
In a spacial Nautilus windows, right click on the file to burn it, and it's
suddently disapears from sights. 
The you have to close the nautilus windows and reopen it and take an other ways
around.
I doubt a nautilus-cd-burner because the options is still availlable under de
edit menu and this options does not crash the nautilus windows
