GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 310687
Totem should use nullsink if the audio device is not available
Last modified: 2005-07-18 07:25:34 UTC
Don't "totem cannot play audio, please check your multimedia preferences" and quit afterwars. If totem would say "totem cannot play audio, please check your multimedia preferences, totem won't play sound now" and if it would just play the file using the nullsink for audio, people could at least see the movie (which make sense in some cases). Other information:
Maybe I should just automatically use default with a warning, yes... Hm... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 170719 ***
