Strace of Evo crashing when sending email message to GW (110.02 KB, application/gzip)

Description David Richards 2005-07-12 13:26:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I found this by accident. If you are connected to GroupWise with Evolution,
and then send a meeting but place the meeting on the Personal (On This Computer)
selection instead of the GroupWise calendar it crashes Evo when you attempt to
send it. What happens is that it sits in your Outbox of "On This Computer" and
cannot deliver. If you restart Evo and hit Send/Receive it crashes again. You
have to delete it from the local Outbox and then Evo works correctly again.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?

Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard
to determine what caused it. Can you provide us with one? Please see
http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.

Change title please to " Sending Personal Meeting Or Email Message through GW
POA Crashes Evolution."

I found that it happens for regular email messages too on this combination of
POA and client. The message goes into the Outbox, displays as Outbox(1) and
then crashes.

They mentioned in the IRC that it should only be there for a split second before
they are moved into the GW Sent Items mail folder.

I'm attaching a strace, gziped because of the size.
