Description escapechen 2005-07-12 07:37:00 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.6.12
Package: Evolution
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.10.0 2.2.1
Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo
Synopsis: Crashing over and over after enabling DBUS
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous
Bugzilla-Version: 2.2.1
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
After compilation of HALD (Hardware Abstraction Layer Demon) Evolution
got a new checkbox that says something like "generate DBUS events on
incoming mail".

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Go the Properties and enable DBUS events.
2. Check mail.
3.

Expected Results:
Crash.

How often does this happen?
2 times already.

Additional Information:
I didnt play around with it yet. I tried to restart Evolution after it
crashed, but keeps crashing. I hope to sort out this problem by removing
all evolution components from memory (incl. dataserver) and restarting
Evolution.
