Description C Shilpa 2005-07-06 08:28:52 UTC
Version details: 2.3.4
Distribution/Version: SuSE 9.3

1. Select a message. Goto the file menu and verify whether all related options
are enabled.
2. Deselect the message. Now no message should be selected. Verify in the file
menu that related options (save message, print and print preview) are disabled.
3. Select the same message that was deselected. The menu options are still disabled.

Expected results:
The menu options should be enabled.

Other information:
It is the same case with the menu options in message menu.
Comment 1 C Shilpa 2005-07-06 08:38:38 UTC
One more issue is
1. Select a message. The message should be shown in the preview pane
2. now deselect the message. The message should not be shown in the preview pane.
3. Now again select the message that was deselected. The message is not shown in
the preview pane even when it is selected and should be shown in the preview pane.

The second issue is now if we goto another message and select some message from
the preview pane, the copy option in the edit menu is disabled. Now if we
deselect the message from which text was selected, the copy option is enabled.

changing the selection on the cursor isn't recognised
Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:25:26 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 6 Roberto Guido 2009-11-24 00:04:01 UTC
In 2.92.3 this seems to be corrected, as long a message is always selected and no inconsistency appears.
Comment 7 André Klapper 2012-02-13 15:13:11 UTC
Roberto is right; Problem does not happen anymore in 3.2.3 either.

Closing as OBSOLETE.
